Sales person was great. Got me a 2018 honda accord lx. Love it. I would reccomend this place 2 anybody.
I would give the Salas department 5 Stars. When I bought my Honda they were great! The service department on the other hand is horrible.. I always try to get my vehicle serviced at the dealer I bought it from. I always make a appointment and show up on the time I'm given. I drive 20 miles each way to get to Sussex Honda. Just for a oil change takes over a hour of waiting with h a appointment is ridiculous. Maybe if it happens once I can understand but not here. The last Time I showed up I waited a hour and 45 minutes for an oil change that I didn't receive because I left. They sent me a survey I filled it out and of course they said it would never happen again. But it does. Sorry to say I'm done doing business with. This place. It's a shame because the sales department was so good.
Sussex Honda saved my family's vacation. While on a Poconos vacation, our Odyssey experienced some major electrical problems the night before we were taking the kids to NYC for a few days. The service manager got us in first thing in the morning, secured us a loaner to take on our overnight trip, and had the van's electrical system checked bumper to bumper while we were in the city. We made it back to Sussex Honda just before closing the next night. The van's computer had been reset and we've not had a problem since. The final bill was ridiculously low for the services we received. The experience blew us away. Sussex Honda is amazing. If how they treated an out of state customer like us is any indication of how they take care of their regular customers, the residents of Newton are very lucky to have this dealership close to home. Awesome place. I was surprised to see that this dealership was cheaper than one of those 10 minute oil change places and much better. My recall and oil change was dealt with quickly. They were able to help me even tough I only called last minute. Friendly and helpful staff. Good coffee, a tv with all the channels and a playroom for kids while you wait
Recently, my husband and I visited this dealership to look at a new car. We got to test drive a car and the sales person Paul appeared helpful to my husband but not to me. I’m writing this review because I was dissatisfied with the way I was treated by the sales person. At our first meeting, he never shook my hand, didn’t introduce himself to me or allow me to introduce myself to him, and made virtually no eye contact with me throughout the entire visit. He communicated exclusively with my husband. I felt ignored. We are looking to buy a car as a couple, not as a man to man transaction. I find it appaling that there still are car sales people who don’t understand that if two people come to buy a car, you interact with both customers rather than just the man and ignore the woman. I do not feel comfortable spending my money at a place where I do not feel respected.
