The prices at this location seem to be higher and there are fewer sales compared to the ShopRite in Montague. Their meat selection in particular appears to be smaller and higher priced with fewer discounts compared to the other location. Also, I really dont care for their archaic shopping cart system that requires a quarter to get a shopping cart. Get with the times and hire someone to collect your carts like everyone else does.
As far as stores go, this one is fine. I take my cat (they have no idea) and let her pick out toys. They have food and stuff too.
Strong selection of produce and a great prepared food / deli counter. Most importantly, they have enough checkers to open lanes when it gets busy - very seldomly is there a long wait. An alcohol store is right next door which has a great beer selection; you can even get your growlers filled!
Everyone is helpful. Prices are good. They are busy, so it means more turnover of product, so you know it's fresh.
It is way too busy here and the isles are always crowded (too narrow). The layout is horrible and causes "traffic jams" if one of the many shoppers who think they're the only person in the store decides to stop without consciously moving their cart to the side. Additionally, you need a quarter to get a cart, which sucks, but the ever-crowded parking lot would be a nightmare if they didn't incentivise people to bring them back. The only other store nearby is Weis which is more expensive with a less diverse selection. 4 stars for value and selection, 2 stars for ambiance and shopping experience.
