Staff is rude and unhelpful. Appointments are never honored, expect to wait 30-60 minutes for your car to be seen
This place is horrendous. They have no concept of time or what it means to set an appointment
Excellent service, great communication, very friendly, accepted my car for repair even though they were booked up, applied discounts to my invoice that I didn't even know were available to me, got my qualified for financing.
I ended up leaving scared and taking it to a local mechanic for a second opinion. They told me that the joint was a bit torn but the axle was doing ok and that it would be fine to drive on for another few weeks. He also told me I only needed one side replaced. They did it for me a month later for only $300.
They will also give you a laundry list of things they 'recommend' fixing no matter what you tell them you're looking to get done, and push for unnecessary repairs. One worker told me that my cv joint was torn on one side so that I needed to replace both axle joints immediately for over $800. I was obviously upset and anxious because I couldn't afford it at the time and the employee talked up how dangerous it would be to not get fixed immediately.
They use the cheapest parts possible on repairs. I got my brake pads replaced here and they needed replacing again 6 months and only 10,000 miles later.
Secondly they damaged my vehicles lug nuts resulting in them having to replace the nut and bolt. This was done at no charge but resulted in an Inconvenience for myself. A year or so later I go to another establishment to get another set of tires to find out that multiple other lug nuts were damaged and in need of replacement. More time and money wasted because firestone damaged more than I originally thought. Now I have to replace more parts because firestone was unable to do the job correctly the first time.
This was the absolute worst experience I've had with vehicle repairs. They took my car in 30 mins after my scheduled appointment then proceeded to recommend $3,400 worth of repairs though I only requested some general maintenance. I took the invoice to another mechanic who laughed at how ridiculously inflated their pricing was and repaired my a/c for 1/3 of the cost Firestone quoted. Staff was rude and treated me as if I was a bother.
Tl;dr they use cheap parts and will try to scare you into getting non-urgent and overpriced repairs.
