This is a great place to go to; a very homey & peaceful setting to eat.. staff was friendly & happy to take your order.. breakfast was outstanding.. highly recommend any item on the menu as all are fresh & prepared with care... had a great egg dish with all the trimmings cooked perfect & the coffee is the best I have had in a long time & be sure & have a piece of the "Mom's Coffee Cake". Just go... you will be happy you did & will become a steady customer.. you'll see :)
Pleasant atmosphere. Very nice owner. Very good breakfast. Quiet location. Plenty of parking. Try the homemade jellies with your toast.
If you are longing for a VT B&B type atmosphere you don't need to take a long drive. It's right in NJ. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the coffee was great too. There aren't a ton of good breakfast/brunch spots in the area so this place gets busy as well. Its easy to see why after you've been.
Holy Moly! Can you say fast/great customer service? We found this place after running errands (getting married license) and it turned out to be a fun adventure. The restaurant had a home feel to it. It reminded me of Vermont and how most businesses keep the layout of a real house and just tweak it up, genius! We sat down they brought us their delicious coffee and took our orders (we were starving). Literally, a minute later they brought out potatoe soup (must have) and 3 minutes later our steak sandwiches we're out. I just love and appreciate when businesses understand the importance of impeccable consumer service! We left feeling full and happy
