Great place! Staff is nice, food (and icecream) is good, and aslong as you dont come during the busy hours, service is fast.
My experience in Newton Friendly' s was horrible. The waiter seemed fine at first but after we ordered our food, 45 minutes had come and gone and still no food. I wouldn't of mind so much if the family sitting next to us hadn't not only got their meal but ice cream as well. And we were seated first!
Food was terrible. Order took forever to come. Was not happy with the quality. Overall, will not eat there again.
wait stuff is decent,food was greasy and the booth right next to us was saying the same thing,walls were dirty and floor sticky from syrup
One of my fond memories growing up was going to my local Friendly’s after an event for a hot fudge sunday. As I get older, there are less and less Friendly’s restaurants still around to enjoy. One of the few remaining near me is this location and it was well worth the 30 minute drive. The sunday was as good as I remember as a kid, the place was clean and the staff was pleasant and accommodating. I normally don’t write reviews of places I eat.. but I do today in the hopes that this Friendly’s remains open for business and allows me and my family the chance to return again and again. Go and enjoy the ice cream.
