Although the store isn't the most beautiful they have a great selection of dresses and a helpful, friendly staff. I'd make an appointment if you are going in to try dresses on because there are not many fitting rooms.
We have had the absolute worst experience with this store, from the owner to the employees. We ordered a flower girl dress in April. In July it came in, but the wrong dress was ordered. They ordered the correct one and a few weeks later it came in - right dress. Wrong size. They made a few phone calls to see if they could find it in the right size, but nobody had it and so we were told we could take the smaller dress or get a refund. There was nothing else they could do. 3 weeks before the wedding, they screwed up the order twice, and they could care less. We went to another bridal store and they said to bring the smaller one in, they'd get creative and have it altered in time. When I went back to get the dress they refused to allow me to take it out of the store without paying the balance! I said who do you think has to pay for all the alterations we have to get because of your errors? Their whole attitude was "take it or leave it". I took it but told them I would be contacting the BBB, and writing reviews up on the web to warn people of the "customer service" they provide. The little girl behind the counter said I don't think I'm going to give you this dress because you're threatening us. Good gawd. What a horrible place.
I am so glad that I made the decision to use Chrissy O's! I had read some bad reviews and heard a few negative things about this store and made the decision to go elsewhere... Until my wedding hair/makeup vendor (whom I've known for years) told me that she had a great experience here, as did a bunch of other people that she knew. I trust her opinion, so I went ahead and made an appointment.
I have used Chrissy O's twice now. Once back in 2008 for my bridesmaid dresses for my wedding and am currently using them to order the maid of honor dress I'll be wearing this August.
I would recommend Chrissy O's to any bride or bridal party! I am so happy that I made the decision to use them!!!!!
I was home when the package arrived on a rainy day. The dress was in a USPS large envelope. Chrissy O Bridal had the dress in its original plastic rolled it up in a ball to put in a shipping envelope. The dress was a wrinkled mess and I was lucky that the dress wasn't sitting on my porch in the rain because it would have been destroyed. It would not have been protected from the rain.
They've been so loyal to me and I really going to miss them
I was so stunned of how I received my nearly 200 dollar bridesmaid dress and could not believe how haphazardly they would ship something so expensive. For anyone who has out of state bridesmaids that cannot make the trip to pick up the dress from the shop, please rethink using them as your preferred dress shop.
I went here a few months ago to get a bridesmaid dress. When the dress finally arrived in the store, I moved to another state. I could not make it to the store to pick up the dress so instead I asked them about shipping it. For only $10 they would ship the dress to me, which was a fantastic solution to my problem. The dress is a lace and satin gown.
I worked with Jessica at Chrissy O's. She was so friendly and knowledgeable, and made the experience painless and enjoyable! She is really quick to respond to emails, which I love. We had some scheduling issues with my bridesmaids, and it ended up that the only day we could make an appointment was a Sunday - a day that Chrissy O's is not normally open. Jessica opened the store just for our appointment, and we never felt rushed! She had everything ready for us and the girls tried on everything they wanted and more! I let the girls each pick their own style out of the Alfred Angelo collection, and the selection at the store is amazing - there were literally dozens of choices, including the new collection. And every one of my bridesmaids found a dress that was perfect for them!!! In addition to the great experience, we were totally surprised at the prices - every single dress was cheaper than other stores that we had considered going to!
