Took a cookoo clock there that was purchased in Germany by my husband stationed there at the time. He bought it for his Mom, upon her recent passing we brought it home. The clock was not running. The clock was to be "completely cleaned and refurbished"--they had it for 6 months. After paying $400, we picked it up and brought it home. It worked for 1 month and then stopped. I made several phone calls to the repair shop. They kept saying that it was probably that the clock wasn't hung straight. Finally I did some research, found another clock repair shop in East Hanover. The owner opened the back and immediately saw that the bellows were never replaced. Apparently these parts are the first thing that should be checked, especially when the age of the clock was known. So now it will be another $400 to finally get it correctly repaired, and with a 1 year warranty. My recommendation,-- drive much farther east if you want your clock repaired correctly.
Jack Cornwell and his daughter Wendy do a great job, they fixed our grandfathers clock and it runs great now. They also have many new clocks for sale, if you are in Newton its worth a stop by
Excellent repairs to my clocks!
Only visited this store as a walk-through (window shopping). Interesting clocks on display and the folks running the place were friendly and, as far as I could tell, knowledgeable.
